How to enable Google Authentication?

DeFiato uses Google Authentication as one of its 2FA methods. The below steps will guide you on how to enable it.

Step1: Go to the account settings and click " ENABLE 2FA" for Google Authentication.

Step 2: Download "Google Authenticator app" (on iOS/Android) and install it on your mobile phone.

Step 3: Scan the QR Code using the Google Authenticator app which is generated by the system on your screen. Alternatively, you can use "manual entry" option to insert the 2FA 16 characters key which displayed on the Enable Google Authentication page.

• Account: Account name define by you on demand, such as “DeFiato".
• Key: 2FA 16-digit key’ which displayed in ‘Enable Google Authentication’ page.

Step 4: Backup key will help you find your Google authenticator in case you have any problems with your phone.

You can recreate new Google Authentication by your backup key and safeguard it for emergency cases.

Step 5: Fill in the required information and click on "SUBMIT" (2FA code is the code you receive from your Google Authenticator app).

That's it! You have successfully enabled your Google Authentication.
